Day 1 (Thu) Depart USA
Your exciting journey into the beautiful and glorious world of China begins as you depart the USA aboard your flight. Cross the International Dateline.

Day 2 (Fri) Beijing
Welcome to Beijing, the capital of China. Transfer to your hotel.

Day 3 (Sat) Beijing (B,L,D)
After an early breakfast, you will be privately whisked to see the Great Wall that extends over 3000 miles of mountains and hills. Afterwards, off to the mysterious Ming Tombs. Enjoy a Peking Duck dinner tonight.

Day 4 (Sun) Beijing (B,L)
Today, you will stroll through Tiananmen Square prior to entering the Forbidden City. Then onto the Temple of Heaven, China's largest existing complex of ancient architectural buildings. You will end this day visiting the Summer Palace of the Empress Dowager Cixi.

Day 5 (Mon) Beijing/Wuxi (B,L,D)
Fly to Shanghai where you will connect to a short train ride to Wuxi. Transfer to your hotel. Afternoon tour visiting the shores of Lake Tai and the famous Huishan Clay Figure Research Institute. Enjoy a local cuisine dinner.

Day 6 (Tue) Wuxi/Suzhou/Shanghai (B,L,D)
Proceed to Suzhou this morning either by a cruise boat down the old Grand Canal, if available, or by train. Suzhou is a beautiful city known as “Venice of the East”. You will visit classical gardens of Master of Fishing Net and Humble Administrator. Then, onto the silk workshops of Embroidery Research Institute. Afterwards, a short train ride takes you to Shanghai, China’s bustling commercial center. Check in at your hotel. Enjoy a local cuisine dinner.

Day 7 (Wed) Shanghai (B,L)
This morning your private tour will begin with a visit to the the Bund, Shanghai's most picturesque promenade, Yu Garden , Jade Buddha Temple and the renowned Shanghai Museum. After dinner, Enjoy an exciting acrobatic show.

Day 8 (Thu) Shanghai/Yichang (B,L,D)
Fly to Yichang where you will embark on board your deluxe Cruiser. Your exciting Yangtze Cruise starts after you settled into your cabin for a good relaxing rest.

Day 9 (Fri) Yangtze Cruise (B,L,D)
This morning you will arrive at Sandouping, the massive construction site of the Three Gorges Dam. Tour of the construction site then sail through the Three Gorges ship locks. Continue cruise through the longest scenic Xiling Gorge.

Day 10 (Sat) Yangtze Cruise (B,L,D)
In the morning, you will be transferred to a motorboat ride up the crystal clear Danning River passing through the towering "Three Small Gorges". Return to your cruise boat and continue sailing through Wu Gorge, know for it's quiet beauty and the immortal Twelve Peaks. Later, cruise through the magnificent Qutang Gorge with its imposing vistas of caverns, pillars and pathways.

Day 11 (Sun) Yangtze Cruise (B,L,D)
Arrive at Shibaozhai where you will go ashore and visit the famous twelve-story wooden pagoda, known as the "Pearl of the Yangtze". Later, continue sailing towards Chongqing.

Day 12 (Mon) Chongqing/Xian (B,L)
Arrive Chongqing in the morning. Disembark with your belongings and proceed to the airport for a flight to Xian, the ancient capital city of China. Check in to your hotel.   Later, you will be taken on a tour of this city's massive city walls.

Day 13 (Tue) Xian (B,L,D)
Today's highlight is the tomb of the Emperor Qin Shi Huang Di, guarded by thousands of terra-cotta warriors and horses. Other stop include the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and famous Provincial History Museum. Tonight, enjoy a Tang Dynasty dinner and dance performance.

Day 14 (Wed) Xian/Guilin (B,L,WD)
Morning flight to Guilin. Transfer and check in at your hotel. Later this afternoon, take a tour of the Reed Flute Caves, nicknamed the Art Gallery of Nature, the cave features fantastic stalactite and stalagmite formations that are artfully illuminated by beautiful multicolored lights. Enjoy a buffet dinner at the hotel.

Day 15 (Thu) Guilin/Guangzhou (B,L)
This morning you will board a riverboat for your cruise along the Li River surrounded by majestic limestone peaks and beautiful landscapes. At the end of the cruise, browse around the beautiful little town of Yangshuo before transfer to the airport your flight to Guangzhou. Upon arrival, Walk (5-minute) to check in at hotel.

Day 16 (Fri) Guangzhou/Narita (B)
Return to airport for your morning flight to Narita. Overnight at airport hotel.

Day 17 (Sat) Narita/USA
Return to airport for your fight home.
