Your exciting journey to Japan begins as you depart aboard ANA flight to Tokyo. Day 2 (Wed) Arrive Tokyo
Upon arrival at Tokyo, the capital of Japan, transfer to your hotel.

Day 3 (Thu) Tokyo
Your morning tour starts with a visit to the Tokyo Tower Observatory for a panoramic view
of the city and Tokyo Bay. Then drive by Imperial Palace Plaza before arriving at
Asakusa Kannon Temple.
Day 4 (Fri) Tokyo
Today is free for you to explore this dynamic city on your own.
Day 5 (Sat)
Tokyo/Mt.Fuji/Hakone (L)
Today you will take a motor coach to Hakone through the country side and half way up Mt.
Fuji. After lunch at Highland Resort, you will proceed to Hakone for a cruise on Lake Ashi
followed by a ride on Mt. Komagatake Aerial Cableway.

Day 6 (Sun) Hakone/Nagoya/Toba

Morning drive to Odawara for the lightning-fast Bullet train to Nagoya. After
lunch, visit Nagoya Castle, famous for the golden dolphins atop the roof of its tower, it
was built by leyasu, first of the Tokugawa shoguns. Then stop at Tokugawa Museum of Art,
known for its wide collection of paintings; swords, craft items and dyed fabrics.
Afterwards, a local train will take you to Toba for overnight stay at Toba Hotel
International.
Day 7 (Mon) Toba/Ise/Kyoto (L)
In the morning, proceed via coach to Ise and visit to Pearl Island to see the process of
cultural pearls and to watch women pearl divers at work. After lunch, visit the Ise Jingu
Shrine with its Inner and outer shrine dedicated to the Sun Goddess and Goddess of Harvest
and Sericulture respectively. Later in the afternoon, take a local train to Kyoto and
check in at hotel.

Day 8 (Tue) Kyoto/Nara/Kyoto

Morning visits to Golden Pavilion, a famous structure of Muromachi period for a noble
court. Then, Nijo Castle noted for its gorgeous interiors, and Kyoto Imperial Palace,
famous for its elegant simplicity. After lunch, drive to Nara, the first permanent capital
of Japan. Visit Todaiji Temple with its Great Buddha, colorful Kasuga Shrine, and Deer
Park before returning to your hotel.
Day 9 (Wed) Kyoto/USA
Return home via your ANA flight. |
