Day 1 (Sun) Depart USA
Your exciting journey to Japan begins as you depart aboard ANA flight to Tokyo.

Day 2 (Mon) Arrive Tokyo
Upon arrival at Tokyo, the capital of Japan, transfer to your hotel.
Premium - Takanawa or New Takanawa Prince Hotel
Deluxe - Keio Plaza Hotel

Day 3 (Tue) Tokyo
Your morning visiting the Tokyo Tower Observatory for a panoramic view of the city and Tokyo Bay. Then onto the exquisite outer garden of Imperial Palace Plaza and Asakusa Kannon Temple.

Day 4 (Wed) Tokyo
Today is free for you to explore this dynamic city on your own.

Day 5 (Thu) Tokyo/Mt.Fuji/Hakone (L)
Motor coach to Hakone via Mt. Fuji with a drive halfway up the mountain. Lunch at Highland Resort and sightseeing in Hakone. Overnight at Hotel Kowaki-en with hot spring bath.

Day 6 (Fri) Hakone/Inuyama or Gifu (L)
Morning drive to Odawara for the lightning-fast “Bullet” train to Nagoya. Change to Meitetsu Express and arrive at Inuyama. After lunch, visit the Inuyama Castle and enjoy a Japan-style Rhine Boat Cruise. In the evening, enjoy a Cormorant Ukai Fishing Show, a traditional Japanese fishing method (seasonal). (In the event that hotels in Inuyama are completely full, you will be transferred to Gifu instead. Tour in Gifu includes a visit to Gifu Castle and the Kinkazen Ropeway)

Day 7 (Sat) (A):  EXPO (Mar 24 - Sep 25, 2005) (L)
                  (B):   Nagoya (Sep 26 - Nov26, 2005) (L)
(A): Transfer to EXPO site by chartered vehicle. Spend a whole memorable day exploring EXPO 2005 in Aichi. Depart from EXPO site around 5:30pm for Nagoya Station. Take a "Bullet Train" for Kyoto. Transfer to hotel.
(B): Full day tour of Nagoya visiting Noritake Garden; Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology. After lunch, visit Nagoya Castle and the Tokugawa Museum of Art. Transfer to Nagoya Station and take a Bullet Train" for Kyoto. Transfer to hotel.

Day 8 (Sun) Kyoto/Nara/Kyoto (L)
Morning visits to Golden Pavilion, Nijo Castle noted for its gorgeous interiors, and Kyoto Imperial Palace. After lunch, drive to Nara, the first permanent capital of Japan. Visit Todaiji Temple housing Great Buddha, colorful Kasuga Shrine, and Deer Park.

Day 9 (Mon) Kyoto/Hiroshima
Morning “Bullet” train to Hiroshima, the world’s first atom-bombed city. Afternoon visits to colorful Itsukushima Shrine with its red torii gate, seemingly afloat in the sea, and Peace Memorial Park with its museum of A-bomb devastation relics, photos and data. Overnight at Rihga Royal Hotel.

Day 10 (Tue) Hiroshima/Kurashiki/Osaka (L)
Via “Bullet” train to Kurashiki and visit Ohara Museum of Art and Kurashiki Foldcraft Museum. After lunch, train to Okayama and visit Korakuen Garden, one of the three most famous gardens in Japan. Train back to Osaka.

Day 11 (Wed) Osaka/USA
Return home via your ANA flight.
