ITINERARY
Day 1 Depart the USA on your exciting
journey to the 'Land of the Rising Sun' - Tokyo Japan.
Day 2 After crossing
the international dateline you arrive at the New Tokyo International Airport. Transfer to
your hotel via airport limousine bus.
Hotel - Takanawa or New Takanawa Prince
Day 3 Half day morning
city tour of Tokyo
You will visit the Tokyo Tower Observatory for a panoramic view of the city and Tokyo Bay,
then onto the Imperial Palace and the exquisite outer garden of the Empress Dowager's
residence. Drive through Akihabara, the world famous electric appliance discount center,
then onto the Asakusa Kannon Temple with its bustling arcade of shops. A drive through the
Ginza introduces you to the most celebrated shopping and amusement district in the Orient.
The tour ends at Tasaki Pearl where you will get an introduction to pearl culture. Tasaki
Pearl will provide the return transfer to your hotel.
Day 4 Become immersed in the
culturally enriched city of Tokyo by having these free days to yourself.
Day 5 Transfer to the ancient
city of Kyoto via one of the world's fastest trains, the bullet train or Shinkansen.
Proceed to your home away from home,. Proceed to your hotel.

Day 6 Half day morning
city tour of Kyoto
Visit the Nijo Castle, once used as the Tokugawa Shogun's family palace, then onto the
Golden Pavilion, a gilded structure originally used as a villa by a nobleman. Continue to
the Kyoto Imperial Palace, the former residence of the Imperial family. The tour ends at
the Kyoto Handicraft Center where you will see demonstrations by skills craftspeople. The
Handicraft Center will provide return transfers to your hotel. Now that you've had a taste
of Kyoto, enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 7 Transfer via airport
